Not so much fun having to be out driving in it. A.J. Foyt was not alowed to drive, Terry the turtle was given that privilege for the trek to and fro.the paycheck place. I had offers for pick up and delivery by several male co-workers. Uhm, sorry guys, think I prefer my own driving. Not that I don't appreciate the offers...I do. Daddy taught us girls well.
Many others decided not to chance driving in those slippery conditions. Finally a decision was made to shut the plant down as most counties had declared "snow emergencies". Trip home was uneventful until I tried backing into the garage. There wasn't enough clearance between the under carriage and the snow. But I got 'er inside.
Will see how it shapes up as more is predicted within the next few days. Fun times for sure.

You have 23 inches of Global Warming in your area? Come on Spring. I've seen enough snow on my transports to last a life time.
These are the snows that I remember from my childhood. My oldest G'daughter is hating all of these snow days.....she knows they will have to be made up the end of the year cutting into her summer vacation.
Stay warm and dry. I say this after looking out my winter only to see even more snow coming down.

Oh, how I remember those days of 'no school due to snow', too.
Tell your granddaughter to enjoy those days at home while she can. At least when they make up the missed days, it'll be warm! Y'all keep warm and safe as well. :=))

Honestly I think some of the drivers that were out must be from your area! Those sketchy drivers are everywhere...
