A short time ago, I received a call from Momma. The eldest son/brother in our family had surgery this morning to repair a area on his hip which was a result from a debreded compression sore. You see, he has been in a wheelchair the last 6 years. A paraplegic from an motorcycle accident.
(Last May, he had to have his right leg amputated, but has handled it well)Unfortunately, the Dr.'s have determined that he is septic. Which in layman's speak means infection has gotten into his blood stream. Not a good thing...
The baby sister of the family is a Nurse Practitioner who is coming up tonight to give us her assessment. She will also discuss with the Doctor his prognosis.
I'm begging for prayers for his recovery. As much as I disagree with him over some things, I don't want to lose him.
If you will, please pray for him.
And so it goes......

Ky Woman, you'll have my prayers. Prayers do work (and not because they're from me). It's because prayer from the heart, and made in faith, really does work! Hope your brother speedily recovers without problem.

My prayers are with you and your family. I know what you mean when you said that you two may have your disagreements but that doesn't mean you are ready for him to go........I know you two still love one another.
Sometimes thing like this will bring family closer, sad to say but true!
